On November 16, Tri An Hydropower Company, Dong Nai province, said that at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, November 17, the company will reduce the amount of water released through the spillway to regulate the Tri An Hydropower reservoir.

According to Tri An Hydropower Company, at 8:00 a.m. on November 16, the upstream water level at Tri An Lake: 61.596 m; downstream water level at the factory: 4.4 m; water flow to the lake: 900 m ³ / second; water flow through the turbine: 564 m ^{3 /} second.

Tri An Hydroelectric Plant

Based on the water flow to Tri An reservoir, the upstream water level and hydrological information, the company will reduce the amount of water released to regulate the reservoir as follows: the time is 8:00 a.m. on November 17; the water flow through the spillway is 320m ³ / second (the water flow through the spillway on November 14 is 480m ³ / second). The total water flow discharged downstream is from 600-920m ³ / second. Depending on the weather, water flow to the reservoir, water level of Tri An Hydropower Reservoir, water level downstream of the river at Bien Hoa hydrological station, the company can flexibly regulate the water flow through the spillway.

The Company informs the Civil Defense Command at all levels and relevant local authorities to direct and coordinate in notifying people downstream of the reservoir to proactively take preventive measures and avoid possible impacts.
