Nearly 3.6 billion VND in compensation and support for site clearance for Highway 3 project and opening of Highway 15

The People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot Ward has just issued a decision approving the compensation and support plan when the State reclaims land to carry out the project of Road No. 3 and the opening of Road No. 15, the new urban area in the center of Tan Loi Ward (phase 1).

According to the decision, the total cost of implementing the plan is nearly 3.6 billion VND, affecting 12 households.

After each rain, the road in residential group 7A, Buon Ma Thuot ward is flooded, affecting the daily lives of residents.

It is known that the project of Road No. 3 and the opening of Road No. 15, the new urban area in the center of Tan Loi ward (phase 1) was approved by the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City (old) in Decision No. 597/QD-UBND, dated February 2, 2024. The project is invested by the People's Committee of Tan Loi ward (now the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot ward), with a total investment of 13.2 billion VND, from the city budget.

Although the contractor selection plan was approved on March 25, 2024, the project has not been able to be implemented due to difficulties in determining specific land prices to calculate compensation and support for households.

The long delay in implementation has greatly affected the lives and activities of households along the route, especially when the rainy season comes. The situation of water flooding houses, causing flooding and damaging furniture and appliances has become a constant nightmare for the people here.
