Transportation revenue maintains growth momentum

(CT) - According to Can Tho City Statistics, in October 2025, the city's total revenue from transportation, warehousing and transport support services is estimated at VND 1,230 billion, down 0.51% compared to the previous month and up 13.28% over the same period in 2024. In the first 10 months of 2025, revenue from transportation, warehousing and transport support services is estimated at VND 12,100 billion, up 14.57% over the same period in 2024. Of which, passenger transport revenue is estimated at VND 3,430 billion, up 17.31% over the same period in 2024; freight transport revenue is estimated at VND 7,190 billion, up 16.56% over the same period in 2024; Estimated revenue from warehousing and support services is VND 1,080 billion, down 9.7% over the same period in 2024; estimated revenue from postal and delivery services is VND 400 billion, up 47.15% over the same period in 2024.

In the first 10 months of 2025, the number of passengers transported is estimated to reach more than 93.3 million passengers, an increase of 17.14% over the same period in 2024; the volume of goods transported is estimated to reach nearly 85 million tons, an increase of 21.81% over the same period in 2024. It is forecasted that in the last months of the year, the demand for transporting goods and traveling will increase, the city requires the Department of Construction to deploy solutions to ensure order, traffic safety, and smooth traffic.
