Deploy 60 peak days, reach each household group

Currently, Tax Department 8 manages more than 4,000 business households in the area. Of which, the group with revenue from 200 million VND to less than 1 billion VND/year accounts for 91.5%.

Implementing the plan "60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households", Tax Department 8 has issued a specific plan to implement in the communes and wards under the management of the unit, from November 1 to December 30, 2025.

The goal is to substantially transform the tax management model according to regulations, increasing transparency, fairness and voluntariness in tax declaration and payment by business households.

The unit has established a working group to implement the 60-day peak, directly inspect, urge and support 3 grassroots tax management groups. Accordingly, group 1 is in charge of Dien Hong ward, Gao commune; group 2 is in charge of An Phu ward, Thong Nhat ward, Bien Ho commune; group 3 is in charge of Pleiku ward, Hoi Phu ward.

The groups simultaneously carried out propaganda, guidance and support for business households in their respective areas, ensuring that by January 1, 2026, all households subject to conversion would apply the self-declaration and self-payment method.

Mr. Duong Anh Tuan - Head of the Legal Estimation Team (Basic Tax 8) said: "With a large number of business households, the amount of work that needs to be completed before January 1, 2026 is huge. The teams are making efforts to support each issue that business households are interested in, ensuring that the conversion takes place in accordance with regulations and on schedule."

During peak times, Tax Department 8 implements appropriate support programs for each group of business households, especially focusing on groups with large scale and revenue. Support forms are diversified: directly at the facility, via phone, Zalo, Facebook, website and fanpage of the tax authority. The goal is that 100% of business households subject to conversion have access to information and receive full support.

Mr. Tang Van Tuan, a car electrical repair service business in Dien Hong ward, shared: “I have been given specific instructions by tax officials and received information via Zalo and Facebook. I am very interested in converting from lump-sum tax to declaration to comply with State regulations.”

Nearly 15,000 households must convert

Mr. Tran Phan Quoc Chuong - Deputy Head of Tax Department 8 - informed: "Propaganda work has been widely deployed in many forms. Through the survey, most business households understand the conversion policy.

After more than 10 days of implementing the peak period, we have supported 220/349 business households with revenue from 900 million VND to over 1 billion VND to complete the conversion; by November 20, we will complete support for this entire group of households."

Implementing the message "60 days of action - Substantive transformation - Raising the level of business households in declaration, transparency, and modernity", the 11th Tax Base manages a large area including Ayun Pa Town (old) and the districts of Krong Pa, Ia Pa, and Phu Thien (old) and organizes fixed and mobile working groups to support business households.

Mr. Le Tuan Tu - Head of Tax Department 11 - said: The unit is managing about 4,000 business households, of which 1,260 households are subject to conversion. Mobile teams go directly to each household in remote areas to propagate and guide, in order to limit the impact on business activities.

At Tax Department 9, there are 723 households subject to conversion. Head of Tax Department 9 Nguyen Cong Thach said: After focusing on propaganda and mobilization, the unit coordinated with network operators and banks to organize training and accompany business households in the process of converting tax payment methods. Network operators also support free software for households when switching to declaration.

Up to now, Gia Lai Provincial Tax Department is establishing a tax collection management system for 74,584 business households, of which 3,387 households pay tax by declaration method and 35,029 households pay lump-sum tax. Of these, nearly 15,000 households with revenue of over 200 million VND/year are required to convert from January 1, 2026.
