According to some residents, for many days now, the traffic lights at Son Dinh intersection (the intersection between Provincial Road 781 and Phan Nui Ba Commune Road), in Duong Minh Chau Commune, Tay Ninh Province, have been operating abnormally.

The traffic lights at Son Dinh intersection are yellow and red.

Recorded at the scene at noon on November 15, the traffic lights at this intersection changed colors very chaotically, not in the usual order. The traffic light system changed from yellow to yellow and green; from yellow and green lights suddenly changed to yellow and red.

Meanwhile, the countdown timer lights also went out. The traffic light system malfunction left many road users confused.

In reality, when the yellow or green traffic light suddenly turns yellow or red, many vehicles have to brake suddenly or are caught running a red light, because the driver does not see the traffic light showing the time to prepare and adjust the speed appropriately.

Some people living and doing business near this intersection said that for over a week, they do not understand why these lights have been "flipping around" like that. Although up to now, there have been no traffic accidents at this intersection due to sudden changes in the signal lights, many vehicles have had to brake suddenly when they saw the signal lights suddenly change from yellow and green to yellow and red without displaying the time.

Provincial Road 781 is the main traffic route of Duong Minh Chau commune. Every day, there are many vehicles transporting agricultural products and people traveling on this road. Especially, on weekends, holidays, and Tet, there are many tourists from other provinces and cities following Road 781 to Son Dinh intersection to visit and admire the scenery of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area.
