Arriving at the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center 36.03D (belonging to Central Construction Group Corporation) in Quang Phu ward, we recorded an urgent and scientific working atmosphere when the vehicles coming for inspection were lined up neatly and airy, without any congestion or jams.

After completing the procedures and handing over the vehicle to the inspector, drivers and vehicle owners are guided to the free water counter area. The vehicle that has passed the inspection will be handed back to the vehicle owner to continue driving. Mr. Hoang Van Hung, a vehicle owner who came to have his vehicle inspected, said: "Here, the yard is spacious, the service staff is attentive and professional, when the vehicle has a problem, the inspector will explain and guide how to fix it. We feel very secure every time we bring our vehicle here for inspection."

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of the 36.03D Motor Vehicle Inspection Center, said: Determining the quality of motor vehicle inspection is an important contribution to reducing traffic accidents related to vehicle quality. Therefore, in addition to investing in upgrading infrastructure and modernizing modern equipment, the center also enhances professional training, skills, and professional ethics for the team of inspectors. At the same time, it is necessary to carry out administrative reform well, effectively implement the "one-stop" regime, computerize management work, regularly update, upgrade, and proficiently use the inspection management software prescribed by the Vietnam Register, the Ministry of Construction , and the Thanh Hoa Department of Construction. Thanks to that, the quality and reputation of the Thanh Hoa 36.03D Motor Vehicle Inspection Center are recognized and highly appreciated by relevant sectors. Since the beginning of the year, the center has inspected 25,108 vehicles, of which 23,338 vehicles met the standards, the rest were substandard with major errors such as electrical systems, steering brakes, exhaust..., of which the brake system accounted for 43.22%. The center has sent these unqualified vehicles to the Traffic Police Department for monitoring.

Thanh Hoa Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (Ham Rong Ward) inspects tens of thousands of vehicles each year. From the beginning of 2025 to now, 20,302 vehicles have passed through the inspection center. Mr. Bui Van Tuyen, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Motor Vehicle Inspection Center, said: "To serve the inspection work in accordance with the regulations of the Department of Registration, the Ministry of Construction and the Thanh Hoa Department of Construction, in addition to paying attention to training and improving the qualifications of the inspection team every year in two forms: in person and online, the center also pays attention to maintaining and maintaining equipment to ensure accuracy during the inspection process. Along with that, the center regularly educates officers and employees to seriously implement the culture of behavior and communication in the agency; ensuring dedication, thoughtfulness, not causing trouble or harassment to customers".

Information from the Department of Vehicle and Driver Management (Thanh Hoa Department of Construction) said: In the province, there are currently 11/11 facilities for road motor vehicle inspection. To improve the quality of inspection, contributing to reducing traffic accidents caused by vehicle errors, the centers have invested in purchasing specialized equipment and machinery, reforming administrative procedures, and training for staff to improve their professional qualifications. During the inspection process, all processes, procedures, and procedures for inspection are listed and made public, and the inspection stages are monitored by a camera system directly connected to the Vietnam Register. From the beginning of 2025 to now, inspection units have inspected 133,087 vehicles (120,511 vehicles achieved; 12,576 vehicles did not meet the standards).

The number of motor vehicles in the province is increasing according to the needs of socio-economic development, along with the consequences of environmental pollution due to exhaust fumes, traffic accidents due to drivers not strictly complying with the Road Traffic Law, and lack of understanding of controlling the technical safety of vehicles. Therefore, to improve the quality of vehicle inspection and meet current practical needs, Mr. Hoang Vu Thao, officer in charge of the Vehicle and Driver Management Department (Department of Construction) said: In addition to directing vehicle inspection facilities to strictly implement the procedures and stages according to the regulations and directives of the Ministry of Construction, the Vietnam Register, the Thanh Hoa Department of Construction will strengthen regular monitoring through the camera system at locations and stages on the inspection line. At the same time, it will organize inspections and direct supervision of compliance with regulations on vehicle inspection activities at vehicle inspection facilities. In addition, the department will direct inspection facilities to innovate and improve the quality of customer service, maintain and enhance facilities, publicly and transparently post all information. Encourage the construction and upgrading of electronic information pages to increase interaction, receive feedback and recommendations to promptly resolve and respond to people. Apply technology, digital transformation, and digitize data in business processes; improve the quality of inspection services to meet people's satisfaction.
