Discover the land of Muong Khoong

People in Muong Khoong develop tourism associated with preserving and promoting national cultural identity.

According to the book of Geography of Ba Thuoc district: "The low valley lies along Nua stream, Khanh stream, Ngai stream, forming an arc extending to the West, embracing the giant limestone mountain Pha Hang. The area of the three streams Nua, Khanh, Ngai combined, the valley expands into the hamlets and fields of the center of Muong Khoong... the ancient homeland of the Thai people".

Meritorious Artisan Ha Nam Ninh in Ba Thuoc commune - a passionate researcher of Thai culture shared: "Muong Khoong is the "cradle" of Thai culture. The remaining vestiges on Muong Khoong land have proven that this place is still associated with a turbulent period in the nation's history, contributing to the success of the Le Dynasty's restoration. When the Mac family took over the Le Dynasty, the loyal mandarins of the Le Dynasty, including An Thanh Marquis Nguyen Kim, found the descendants of King Le on Ba Thuoc land. With the protection and help of the leaders of the Muong and the Thai ethnic people, the restoration had to overcome difficulties and challenges. After the success of the Le Dynasty's restoration, the Palace House on Muong Khoong land - where the king and the mandarins used to meet to discuss military affairs - became a place of worship to commemorate King Le and Thai mandarins who made many contributions to the Le Dynasty's restoration".
