The Faculty of Party Building solemnly celebrated its 50th anniversary (1975 - 2025) and received the Third Class Labor Medal.

On the morning of November 15, 2025, the Faculty of Party Building solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 50th anniversary (1975 - 2025) and received the Third-class Labor Medal - a noble award from the Party and the State, recognizing the outstanding achievements of the Faculty in half a century of construction and development. Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics attended, awarded the Third-class Labor Medal to the Faculty of Party Building and delivered a speech at the ceremony.

A special cultural program opened the celebration.

Attending the Ceremony, on behalf of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics delegates were: Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Director of the Academy; Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Academy; Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y, Deputy Director of the Academy; Dr. Truong Cong Dac, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy; leaders of departments, institutes, functional units and Academy under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

On the side of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, there were: Associate Professor, Dr. Mai Duc Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Academy; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Truong Giang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Academy; Associate Professor, Dr. Luu Van Quang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Academy; Dr. Nguyen Duc Toan, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Deputy Director of the Academy, and teachers who were former leaders of the Academy through many periods.

Also attending the ceremony were leaders of many localities such as Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Ho Chi Minh City, Tuyen Quang, Khanh Hoa...; political schools of provinces and cities; generations of cadres, lecturers, students, trainees, and postgraduates of the Faculty of Party Building.

In the solemn atmosphere of the Ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Huong, Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Faculty of Party Building, read a speech reviewing the 50-year journey of building and developing the Faculty. Since being separated from the Faculty of Party History of the Central Propaganda School in 1975 until now, with the persistent efforts of generations of teachers, staff, lecturers, students, trainees, and postgraduates, the Faculty of Party Building has affirmed its position as a key and spearhead faculty of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, and has been awarded many noble awards by the Party and the State, including the Third-class Labor Medal (2005), the Second-class Labor Medal (2015).

In particular, in recognition of the Faculty's achievements, on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of its founding, the Faculty was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This noble award is a worthy recognition of the persistent efforts, spirit of solidarity, creativity and continuous dedication of generations of staff, lecturers, students and postgraduates of the Faculty over the past half century.

The Faculty has trained over 10,000 undergraduate students in Party Building and State Administration, participated in training tens of thousands of students in other majors and specialties of the Academy; trained thousands of graduate students, hundreds of doctoral students for agencies, departments, and organizations at the Central and local levels across the country. The Faculty always innovates and improves the quality of training and scientific research with the determination to maintain its position as a key and spearhead faculty of the Academy. "Promoting the 50-year tradition of building and developing, the Faculty of Party Building continues to promote its mettle, intelligence and aspiration to contribute, constantly innovating in political theory training, contributing to building a team of cadres to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of the country in the new period" - Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Huong emphasized.

In his congratulatory speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Minh Huan affirmed the pioneering role of the Faculty of Party Building, Academy of Journalism and Communication - a specialized academy under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and a university in the system of universities of the country. He also pointed out the key tasks of the Faculty, emphasizing that the Faculty needs to thoroughly grasp the instructions of General Secretary To Lam as well as the orientations of Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Council of Theory to apply to teaching and research; constantly innovate programs, content and teaching methods in a scientific and practical direction, meeting the requirements of the new period; continue to build and develop a team of cadres and lecturers, especially a team of young lecturers with political qualities, solid professional capacity and a spirit of dedication.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son, Director of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, emphasized: “50 years is a brilliant milestone, a source of pride for the Party Building Department of the Academy of Journalism and Communication. The Party Building Department has successfully completed its historical mission, worthy of the trust of the Party and the people to continue to develop to new heights.”

At the Ceremony, delegates watched the documentary "Faculty of Party Building - 50 years of construction and development", listened to speeches and shares from generations of leaders, staff, lecturers, students, trainees and postgraduates of the Faculty.

An emotional and warm atmosphere spread when generations of students, trainees and postgraduates of the Party Building Faculty presented fresh bouquets of flowers to the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; the leaders of the Academy of Journalism and Communication and generations of leaders of the Party Building Faculty through the periods, demonstrating the spirit of "respecting teachers" and the deep teacher-student relationship.

Representatives of generations of students, trainees and postgraduates of the Party Building Faculty presented flowers to express gratitude to the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
