These are projects of special significance, demonstrating the Party and State’s concern for students in border areas. Boarding schools for primary and secondary levels are not only places for students in border areas to study and live, but also a support to help them nurture their dreams and aspirations, gradually narrowing the educational gap between mountainous and lowland areas.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh said that building schools in border communes is a major decision, demonstrating the special attention of the Party and State to people and students in border areas.
The groundbreaking of the first phase of four inter-level boarding schools in Quang Ngai province is expected to create a strong shift in the development of education in mountainous areas. When completed, the project will become a bright spot in education in border areas, opening up opportunities for learning and comprehensive development for ethnic minority children in the "fence" of the Fatherland. Therefore, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the contractors to ensure progress, quality, and "finish" on time.

According to Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang, this is a "special campaign" that requires synchronous coordination from ministries, branches and localities with border communes. Each school is built as a comprehensive educational model, including full learning areas, dormitories, public services, physical education, cultural activities and production areas, smoothly combining teaching literacy, teaching people and training life skills for students.
