Ms. Ta Thi Minh Tam, 42 years old, in Ngo Sai residential group (Quoc Oai commune) is fighting with late stage cancer that has spread to the lungs and bones.

For more than two years since the beginning of 2023, she has been continuously treated with chemotherapy and used foreign medicine at very high costs. The metastatic tumor paralyzed her right arm, making all daily activities difficult. Each treatment lasts 21 days, and the medicine alone costs up to 35 million VND, beyond the family's means.

Tam’s financial situation is extremely difficult. Her husband has a herniated disc and cannot do heavy labor. Her two children are in college and have to work part-time to support themselves. All of Tam’s treatment costs have been borrowed, but the family is now completely exhausted and can no longer afford to pursue the long and expensive treatment regimen.
