(Dan Tri) - The Minister of Public Security directed the building of a team of inspection officers "as clear as a mirror, as sharp as a sword", pioneering the implementation of the Three Firsts emulation; accelerating digital transformation in inspection and supervision work.

On the morning of November 17, the Central Public Security Party Committee held a conference to review the Party inspection, supervision and discipline work for the 2020-2025 term in the Central Public Security Party Committee and to review 5 years of implementing Directive No. 01 dated November 13, 2020 of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee on innovation and improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of Party inspection, supervision and discipline work in the People's Public Security.

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To emphasized that inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline is one of the five leadership methods, contributing significantly to the implementation of the Party Charter, maintaining discipline, order, working style and manners; ensuring that the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws are put into practice.

In particular, our Party always attaches importance to this work and considers it a sharp weapon in building a clean and strong Party.

According to the Deputy Minister of Public Security, during the 2020-2025 term, the Party Central Committee, the Politburo , and the Secretariat have issued many new policies, regulations, and procedures, demonstrating democracy, setting an example, discipline, order, and preventing and combating corruption and waste, contributing to building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system.

The conference aims to evaluate advantages, limitations, difficulties and draw experiences from practice, make forecasts close to the new situation to propose policies and feasible solutions for the coming time.

During the term, the leadership and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee had many innovations, methods and science ; the system of leadership documents, regulations and professional procedures were strictly implemented, creating a synchronous political and legal corridor.

The Central Party Committee of the Public Security pays attention to perfecting the organization of inspection committees at all levels, building a team of Party inspection cadres; establishing 70 Party Inspection Committees of Public Security units and localities, contributing to improving the effectiveness of inspection and supervision.

The implementation of inspection and supervision tasks according to Article 30 and Article 32 of the Party Charter increased by 38% compared to the 2015-2020 term, in which many inspections when there were signs of violations and inspections in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee achieved important results.

Through inspection, documents were issued to rectify, warn, and prevent violations throughout the force; propaganda work, theoretical and practical research, and application of information technology were promoted, aiming at inspection and supervision based on data.

During this term, the Central Public Security Party Committee's Inspection Commission was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Central Inspection Commission.

Delegates discussed and evaluated results, advantages, presented experiences and creative approaches; frankly pointed out limitations, causes and proposed key tasks and solutions for the new period, promoting the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision work.

In his concluding remarks, Senior General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved; thanked the Central Inspection Commission and relevant agencies for their coordination and guidance; and hoped to continue receiving their cooperation in inspection, supervision, and security and order assurance work in the coming time.

The Minister emphasized that the Resolution of the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security Department sets out many targets and action goals, requiring inspection and supervision work for the 2025-2030 term to meet new requirements.

Inspection and supervision work must be perceived as the task of the entire Party Committee, in which the inspection committee is the core; focusing on regular, proactive, and consistent supervision; ensuring that the Party's policies and guidelines are seriously implemented.

Party committees, leaders and inspection committees at all levels must strengthen their grasp of the situation, provide warnings and prevention; advise on overcoming loopholes and strictly handle violations according to the principle of "if there are violations, they must be concluded and handled", "no forbidden areas, no exceptions"; and create strong changes in self-inspection and supervision from the grassroots level.

The Minister requested to focus on inspecting the implementation of the Resolution of the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security; building grassroots Party organizations with high combat power; building a regular, elite, and modern Public Security force; building a team of inspectors "as clear as a mirror, as sharp as a sword", pioneering the implementation of the Three Firsts emulation movement; accelerating digital transformation in inspection and supervision work.
