Handing over the Well of Love project and giving gifts to poor students in Hoa Thinh commune

On November 17, Hoa Thinh Commune Police coordinated with the Political Affairs Department (Provincial Police), Binh Hung Commune Police (Ho Chi Minh City) and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Thinh Commune to organize the inauguration and handover ceremony of the "Well of Love" project; and gave gifts to students in the area.

Representatives of Hoa Thinh commune leaders, police force and philanthropists presented gifts to poor students.

The “Well of Love” project was built at Hoa Thinh Kindergarten to improve the quality of domestic water for more than 150 children and teachers of the school. The project includes the following items: well repair, new pump installation, water filtration system, water tank and auxiliary items.

During the program, the units also donated a children's bookcase, 10 gifts including school bags, notebooks and 10 scholarships (each worth 500,000 VND) to disadvantaged students of Hoa Thinh Primary School. In addition, the units supported 90 cartons of milk for students of Hoa Thinh Kindergarten and Hoa Thinh Primary School to supplement nutrition and take care of their health.

The total cost of implementation is more than 156 million VND, supported by the police force and units in coordination with businesses and philanthropists.

The construction of the “Well of Love” project and the implementation of social security activities aim to ensure clean water for students and teachers of the school; at the same time, it demonstrates the spirit of community responsibility and the cooperation of the police force in taking care of the lives of people at the grassroots level.
