From early morning on November 17, the Team proactively coordinated closely with the police of communes and wards to check and grasp the situation of deeply flooded and isolated areas. With the spirit of "leaving no one behind", the unit mobilized maximum forces and means including 1 canoe, 1 specialized rescue vehicle, 1 troop transport vehicle along with 25 officers and soldiers and full specialized equipment, quickly approaching 4 areas completely isolated by floodwaters, including: Du Long Industrial Park (Thuan Bac commune), Go San residential area (Xuan Hai commune), Dinh riverside residential area (Do Vinh ward) and Ninh Quy village (Phuoc Hau commune). The image of soldiers wading through deep flooded water, despite the rain and wind, carrying old people and children onto the canoe moved many people.

Currently, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 8 still maintains 100% of its personnel on duty, ready to deploy at any time when the people need it. The timely and responsible actions of the Fire Police and Rescue Force of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police have contributed significantly to protecting people's lives during this historic flood.
