Awarding scholarships to disadvantaged students in Gia Lai province

With the nation's beautiful tradition of "Mutual love and support", "The rich help the poor" to support and create conditions for students in difficult circumstances who are at risk of having to drop out of school to continue going to school, on the afternoon of November 16, Tuoi Tre Newspaper organized the 2025 scholarship awarding ceremony "For the future of Vietnam" and "Preventing dropouts" for students in difficult circumstances in Gia Lai province.

Accordingly, the 70 students awarded scholarships this time are students with extremely difficult circumstances: orphans, poor families, children of policy families... currently studying at primary, middle and high schools in the communes and wards of the East of Gia Lai province, localities that suffered heavy damage caused by the recent storm No. 13.

Mr. Pham Hong Hiep - Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union presented flowers to representatives of Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company.

Specifically, the students received 70 scholarships worth a total of 260 million VND. Of these, 40 scholarships "For the Future of Vietnam" are for high school students in Hoai Nhon Dong Ward and Phu My Dong, An Luong, De Gi, Cat Tien Communes, each worth 5 million VND; 30 scholarships "Preventing Dropouts" are for middle school and primary school students in Tuy Phuoc Bac and Tuy Phuoc Dong Communes and An Nhon Dong and Quy Nhon Dong Wards, each worth 2 million VND.
Moved after receiving the scholarship, Tran Quang Nhat, a student of class 10A9, Nguyen Du High School, shared: My family is in very difficult circumstances. Now that I have received the "For the Future of Vietnam" scholarship awarded by Tuoi Tre newspaper, I have the conditions to buy more school supplies, books, review materials, etc.
