Ca Mau held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Tradition Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025)

On the afternoon of November 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Tradition Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025). Attending the meeting were alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Huynh Quoc Viet; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Tan Bay.

The meeting reviewed the glorious 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - a journey closely associated with the history of revolutionary struggle, building and defending the Fatherland.

On November 18, 1930, following the policy of the Indochinese Communist Party, the Anti-Imperialist Alliance - the first form of Front organization - was established. Over the historical periods, the Front organization has changed its name many times to suit the revolutionary tasks; always promoting the role of gathering and uniting all social classes to realize the common goal of national independence and freedom, and of prosperity and happiness for the people.

In the process of innovation, the Fatherland Front has promoted its role as a bridge connecting the Party, the State and the People, both conveying the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws to the People, helping them to correctly perceive, agree to comply with and respond to participate in building and defending the Fatherland. The Front has increasingly affirmed its important role, actively contributing to consolidating, expanding and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, enhancing social consensus, and caring for the People's lives.

Following the glorious history of the past 95 years of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Fatherland Front Committees of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces (before the merger) now the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province always uphold the spirit of "Solidarity - Solidarity - Great solidarity; Success - Success - Great success", making many efforts to innovate working methods, diversify forms of gathering people, promote the practice of democracy at the grassroots level, participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, carry out social supervision and criticism, contributing to building the Party and the political system increasingly clean and strong.

Speaking at the meeting, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Quoc Viet acknowledged, commended and warmly congratulated the efforts, endeavors, achievements and contributions of the Fatherland Front at all levels and those working in the Front for the development of the province over the past time.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Quoc Viet requested the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations to continue to inherit and promote the glorious historical tradition of 95 years of formation and development, constantly innovate, further enhance the role and responsibility to perform and excellently complete assigned tasks. Continue to promote the spirit of innovation, dynamism, creativity, building and fostering the great national unity bloc, creating a great strength together with the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province to successfully implement the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Quoc Viet awarded the First Prize of the Online Contest "Vietnam Fatherland Front - Vision and Mission".

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the Online Contest "Vietnam Fatherland Front - Vision and Mission" awarded prizes to 21 individuals and 10 groups with outstanding achievements.
