Ca Mau held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Tradition Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025)

On the afternoon of November 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Tradition Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025). Attending the meeting were alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Huynh Quoc Viet; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Tan Bay.

The gathering reviewed the glorious 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - a journey closely linked to the history of revolutionary struggle, national construction, and defense.

On November 18, 1930, following the policy of the Indochinese Communist Party, the Anti-Imperialist Alliance – the first form of a united front organization – was established. Throughout history, the Front organization has changed its name several times to suit its revolutionary tasks; it has always played a role in uniting and gathering all social strata to achieve the common goal of national independence and freedom, and the well-being and happiness of the people.

In the process of reform, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) plays a crucial role as a bridge connecting the Party, the State, and the people. It conveys the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws to the people, helping them to correctly understand, agree with, and participate in building and defending the Fatherland. The Front is increasingly affirming its important role, actively contributing to consolidating, expanding, and promoting the strength of the great national unity, strengthening social consensus, and caring for the people's lives.

Following in the glorious footsteps of the past 95 years of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Fatherland Front Committees of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces (before the merger), now the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, have always upheld the spirit of "Unity - Unity - Great Unity; Success - Success - Great Success," making many efforts to innovate methods of operation, diversify forms of mobilizing the people, promote grassroots democracy, participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, carry out social supervision and criticism, and contribute to building a cleaner and stronger Party and political system.

Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, delivered a speech at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Huynh Quoc Viet, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, acknowledged, praised, and warmly congratulated the efforts, achievements, and contributions of the Fatherland Front at all levels and those working in the Fatherland Front to the development of the province over the past period.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Huynh Quoc Viet, requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations continue to inherit and promote the glorious historical tradition of 95 years of formation and development, constantly innovate, and further enhance their role and responsibility in successfully completing assigned tasks. They should continue to promote the spirit of innovation, dynamism, and creativity, building and strengthening the great national unity, creating immense strength together with the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the province to successfully achieve the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031.

Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presented the first prize of the online competition "Vietnam Fatherland Front - Vision and Mission".

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the online competition "Vietnam Fatherland Front - Vision and Mission" awarded prizes to 21 individuals and 10 collectives for their outstanding achievements.
