Hoang Liet Ward pays tribute to teachers on Vietnamese Teachers' Day

HNP - On the afternoon of November 17, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Liet ward held a ceremony to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

Presenting a commemorative speech, Vice Chairwoman of Hoang Liet Ward People's Committee Bui Thi Ngoc Thuy reviewed the history of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, and emphasized that the nation's thousands of years of tradition of respecting teachers is being strongly continued in Hoang Liet Ward.

The school network in the ward continues to be consolidated, with 10 public schools, 68 non-public educational institutions, the education system is developing strongly, contributing to reducing pressure on student numbers and meeting the learning needs of people's children. Educational facilities are gradually invested, many items are upgraded, supplemented with modern equipment to serve teaching and learning in the direction of innovation.

The teaching staff is constantly growing, with more than 600 public teachers and nearly 800 non-public teachers, 100% of teachers are qualified, many teachers have qualifications above standard. The rate of students completing the program is high; the number of students winning prizes in district and city level exams and competitions increases steadily every year.

“Those results are the crystallization of the sense of responsibility, the silent sacrifice, and the loving hearts of teachers - those who have chosen to devote their whole lives to the podium and their students,” emphasized comrade Bui Thi Ngoc Thuy.

Speaking at the Conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Liet Ward Nguyen Truong Son said: The 2024-2025 school year has many special marks. Hoang Liet Ward officially implemented the two-level urban government model, in which the Ward People's Committee directly manages and coordinates the implementation of educational tasks in the area. This is a new step, more clearly demonstrating the proactive role and responsibility of the grassroots government in education and training work.

One of the most outstanding marks in the past school year is that many collectives and individuals of schools in the ward were recognized and rewarded by the Hanoi People's Committee: Tuu Liet Kindergarten; Linh Dam Primary School; Linh Dam Secondary School, Hoang Liet Secondary School were awarded Certificates of Merit by the City People's Committee.

Three groups including Linh Dam Primary School, Linh Dam Secondary School, and Hoang Liet Secondary School were recognized with the title of "Excellent Labor Group" at the City level.

Tuu Liet Kindergarten was commended by the Department of Education and Training for its outstanding achievements in implementing the topic "Building a child-centered kindergarten in the period of 2021-2025"; 2 outstanding teachers were proposed to be awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement from the 2023-2024 school year to the 2024-2025 school year; 10 collectives were awarded the title "Advanced Labor Collective", 139 individuals were awarded the title "Grassroots Emulation Fighter", 287 individuals were awarded the title "Advanced Labor"...
