Hoang Liet Ward expresses gratitude to teachers on Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

HNP - On the afternoon of November 17th, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Liet ward organized a ceremony to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

Nguyen Truong Son, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Liet Ward, presented Certificates of Commendation to units that achieved outstanding results in the emulation movement.

Delivering a commemorative speech, Vice Chairman of Hoang Liet Ward People's Committee Bui Thi Ngoc Thuy reviewed the history of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, while emphasizing that the thousand-year-old tradition of respecting teachers is being strongly continued in Hoang Liet Ward.

The school network in the ward continues to be strengthened, with 10 public schools and 68 private educational institutions. The education system is developing strongly, contributing to reducing class sizes and meeting the learning needs of the people's children. Educational facilities are gradually being invested in, with many items being upgraded and supplemented with modern equipment to serve teaching and learning in line with the new approach.

The teaching staff is constantly growing, with over 600 public school teachers and nearly 800 private school teachers, 100% of teachers meeting the required standards, and many teachers exceeding those standards. The student completion rate is high; the number of students winning awards in district and city-level exams and competitions has steadily increased each year.

"These results are the culmination of a sense of responsibility, silent sacrifice, and the loving hearts of teachers who have chosen to dedicate their lives to the classroom and their students," emphasized Comrade Bui Thi Ngoc Thuy.

In his remarks at the conference, Nguyen Truong Son, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Liet Ward, stated that the 2024-2025 school year will have many special milestones. Hoang Liet Ward will officially implement a two-tiered urban government model, in which the Ward People's Committee will directly manage and coordinate the implementation of educational tasks in the area. This is a new step, clearly demonstrating the proactive role and responsibility of the local government in education and training.

One of the most notable achievements of the past school year was the recognition and commendation of many groups and individuals from schools in the ward by the Hanoi City People's Committee: Tuu Liet Kindergarten; Linh Dam Primary School; Linh Dam Secondary School, and Hoang Liet Secondary School were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Hanoi City People's Committee.

Three collectives, including Linh Dam Primary School, Linh Dam Secondary School, and Hoang Liet Secondary School, were recognized with the title of "Outstanding Labor Collective" at the city level.

Tuu Liet Kindergarten was commended by the Department of Education and Training for its outstanding achievements in implementing the thematic project "Building a child-centered kindergarten in the period 2021-2025"; 2 outstanding teachers were recommended to receive Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training for their excellent achievements in the emulation movement from the 2023-2024 school year to the 2024-2025 school year; 10 collectives were awarded the title "Advanced Labor Collective", 139 individuals were awarded the title "Outstanding Emulation Soldier at the grassroots level", and 287 individuals were awarded the title "Advanced Worker"...

The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward have been, are, and will continue to pay attention to developing the team of teachers and education management officials, having preferential policies and ensuring the best conditions for the development of the Education and Training cause.
