
In the face of prolonged heavy rains causing localized flooding in many residential areas in Khanh Hoa province, on November 17, Regiment 23 organized 50 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local forces to evacuate households in dangerous areas to safe places; support the transportation of essential assets, help people reinforce their houses to limit damage when the floods continue to develop complicatedly.
In bad weather conditions, at dusk, officers and soldiers still tried their best, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, serving the people.

Colonel Nguyen Hai Anh, Regiment Commander, directly inspected and encouraged the working groups, requiring the force to concentrate maximum human resources and means; promote proactive spirit, and be ready to mobilize to key points.
The leaders and people of Tay Nha Trang ward acknowledged and highly appreciated the timely and enthusiastic support of E23 officers and soldiers at a time when the locality faced many difficulties in flood prevention and control.
* From 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the same day (November 17), the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Team (PCCC & CNCH) of Region 8 - Khanh Hoa Province Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department deployed maximum forces and equipment to respond to the situation of rising floodwaters, isolating many residential areas.

With the tireless efforts of 25 officers and soldiers along with specialized vehicles (canoes, rescue vehicles, military vehicles), the force organized rescue at 4 hot spots: Du Long Industrial Park, Thuan Bac Commune; Go San Residential Area, Xuan Hai Commune; Residential Area along Dinh River, Do Vinh Ward; Ninh Quy Village, Phuoc Hau Commune.

The team promptly rescued and brought to safety 89 people, including many elderly people and children. This is the clearest proof of the spirit of serving the people, not afraid of danger of the Fire Police and Rescue force.
