On the morning of November 15, the Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Phong coordinated with the Vietnam E-commerce Association and the People's Committee of Tue Tinh commune to organize a program to launch livestream sales at traditional markets - Hai Phong 2025 at Phu Loc market (Tue Tinh commune).
Attending the launching ceremony were leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Science and Technology, Vietnam E-commerce Association, City Cooperative Alliance, Tue Tinh Commune People's Committee and accompanying units.

In recent years, Hai Phong's e-commerce revenue has accounted for about 16 - 18% of total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue, with an average growth of 23 - 25% per year. In 2025, the city's e-commerce index will rank 5th in the country, demonstrating strong efforts in digital transformation.

Bringing livestream into business activities at traditional markets is an inevitable trend, helping traders connect directly with consumers, creating trust and increasing competitiveness.

According to Mr. Khanh, livestream is not only a sales tool but also an effective communication solution, helping to improve image and increase interaction between traders and customers. VECOM will continue to accompany, support knowledge transfer, skill training and connect digital platforms for traditional markets.

The program is expected to create a new sales trend at traditional markets, support small traders in accessing technology, improve competitiveness and contribute to promoting the development of e-commerce in the city in the coming time.
