Asphalt pavement on Hai Phong - Hung Yen connecting road

The contractor has begun laying the final asphalt layer on the road from Hoa River Bridge to Provincial Road 354 (connecting Hai Phong - Hung Yen). The project is expected to be put into operation on December 15.

On November 14, at the construction site of a road section in Vinh Am commune ( Hai Phong city), the contractor, Xuan Thanh Development Company Limited, was laying a layer of asphalt to complete the road surface, dozens of workers with many mechanical vehicles were concentrating on the construction.

After the Hoa River Bridge connecting Vinh Am Commune (Hai Phong City) and Hung Yen Province was put into operation in December 2019, the traffic volume from Hoa Bridge to Provincial Road 354 increased dramatically, becoming a traffic "bottleneck". In this situation, the City People's Committee added a project to renovate and upgrade a 1.65 km section from Hoa River Bridge to Provincial Road 354, with an investment capital of VND 251.8 billion. After renovating and upgrading the road, it will meet the standards of a level 3 delta road. The project started in November 2024 and is expected to be completed in December 2025.

Before the official carpet, Xuan Thanh Development Company Limited (project contractor) carried out a test carpet.

Mr. Dinh Dac Phuong, Site Commander, said that since the beginning of November 2025, when the weather is dry, the construction unit has focused on human resources and machinery to speed up the progress of all construction items. The contractor strives to complete the main items such as road surface, lighting, sidewalks, etc. by December 15 to hand over to the investor for operation.

The contractor organized construction simultaneously, many teams strived to complete the main items before December 15.

Lighting poles are ready to be installed.

The road is invested to meet the standards of a grade 3 plain road, with an asphalt concrete surface. Once completed, this will become an important "gateway" connecting traffic between Hai Phong city and Hung Yen province.

People of Vinh Am commune (Hai Phong city), especially households doing business on both sides of the road, hope the construction will be completed soon to help travel and business be more convenient and develop.
