The rural landscape is increasingly changing.
Briefly reporting on the socio -economic situation at the festival, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Front Work Committee of Khanh Chuc Doi village Nguyen Tien Sinh said that Khanh Chuc Doi village is located in the south of Ba Vi commune, 6km from the commune center, with hilly terrain. The village has 162 households with 640 people; of which, there are 19 policy households; there are no poor or near-poor households. 100% of the village's lanes and alleys have been paved. Recently, the village has mobilized people in the village to socialize self-management works worth 55 million VND...
Economic development models in Khanh Chuc Doi village are maintained effectively. The village has a number of typical models such as the green house model, the self-managed inter-family alley model... The village also practices a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, longevity celebrations and festivals; 100% of weddings follow the new cultural lifestyle...
The cultural, artistic and sports movement of Khanh Chuc Doi village takes place actively and regularly with 2 sports clubs and 6 art clubs; the village's sports ground is maintained and used effectively... 93% of the households in the village have achieved the title of cultural family.
Regarding environmental sanitation, village roads, alleys, and public areas for garbage collection are ensured. The village maintains a good general cleaning of village roads and alleys every Saturday morning and takes care of flower-covered roads.
“People trust the leadership of the Party Committee, the government and the Party cell to make people's lives more and more prosperous and happy. The face of the countryside has gradually changed, many economic models have been developed; children have been invested in their studies; there are many good students, many of whom have passed university entrance exams with high scores; the spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved,” Mr. Nguyen Tien Sinh emphasized.
Building Ba Vi into a livable countryside
Speaking to share the joy with the people of Khanh Chuc Doi village, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc shared: “Today, in the middle of Tan mountain and Da river - the convergence of nature, the legend of Duc Thanh Tan and the hearts of people, I clearly feel the vitality of the great national unity; of the cultural identity of the Muong, Dao and Kinh ethnic groups with their own customs, habits and cultural features, lit up by the faith, sharing and love for the homeland and country of the people here. This is an honor, an opportunity to meet, listen and share with the Muong, Dao and Kinh people - those who are preserving the soul of the Capital in the middle of the majestic and sacred Ba Vi mountain range”.
Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that the history of the Vietnamese nation for thousands of years is the eternal flow of the strength of the great national unity bloc. National unity has been formed and nurtured throughout the history of the struggle to build and defend the country, permeating the thoughts, souls and character of every Vietnamese person.
“In the capital Hanoi - the heart of the whole country - the spirit of great solidarity is even more clearly demonstrated. Every citizen of the capital, whether in the city, countryside or mountains, is a part of a united, creative and benevolent community. Thanks to that great solidarity, Hanoi has been growing strongly: Developing the economy, maintaining political and social stability, caring for people's lives and spreading humanistic and cultural values", the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee emphasized.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc congratulated Ba Vi commune and Khanh Chuc Doi village on their strong development with a new look that is increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern.
According to the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, with its rich history and culture, Hanoi aims to build a civilized, modern, happy, green, smart, creative and livable capital. In that overall development, Ba Vi is identified as the "green belt" of the capital - both an ecological buffer zone and a space for preserving national culture, and at the same time a major tourism, service and organic agriculture center of the city.
“The City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee will continue to pay attention to and prioritize investment in Ba Vi in terms of transport infrastructure, schools, healthcare, eco-tourism, as well as digital transformation programs; developing community cultural tourism associated with the K9 relic site, Tan Vien Son Thanh temple and Muong and Dao ethnic villages. We are all aiming to build Ba Vi into a livable countryside: Green, clean, beautiful, harmonious between development and preserving tradition, identity and modernity”, said comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
Emphasizing that the National Great Unity Day is an opportunity to look back and pay tribute to our predecessors and previous generations of revolutionaries, while also arousing pride, faith and aspiration to contribute to the future; Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc believes that with the spirit of solidarity, the will to rise up and faith in the Party's leadership, the harmony between the Party's will and the people's hearts, the people of Ba Vi commune in general and Khanh Chuc Doi village in particular will continue to achieve many new achievements in economic, cultural and social development, building a united, civilized and happy community.
Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc suggested that right after the festival, the Hanoi Fatherland Front continue to accompany the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and relevant agencies in solving urgent requirements from now until the end of the year, such as: Decentralization and delegation of power associated with streamlining administrative procedures; digital transformation; socio-economic development; thoroughly solving the most pressing bottlenecks such as flooding, traffic congestion, environmental pollution, urban civilization, site clearance... in the process of implementing the 2-level local government model, in order to serve people and businesses better and better.

Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc hopes that the Fatherland Front and mass organizations will continue to promote their core role, truly being a solid bridge between the Party, the government and the people. On this occasion, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc presented gifts to congratulate the National Great Unity Festival in Khanh Chuc Doi village. Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thi Tuyen presented gifts to Khanh Chuc Doi village and 10 households; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi presented gifts to 10 households. Notably, at the festival, 6 near-poor households in Ba Vi commune received support from the city to build Great Unity houses. Ba Vi commune awarded 5 households with achievements in building new rural areas.
