Base tax 9 speeds up to complete the target of 100% of business households switching from lump-sum tax to declaration

Implementing the direction of Dak Lak Provincial Tax Department on implementing "60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households", on November 15, the 9 grassroots Tax Departments of Dak Lak province launched propaganda and support for business households to convert in accordance with regulations.

Currently, the Dak Lak Provincial Tax Department of 9 manages 1,762 business households in Dong Hoa, Hoa Hiep wards and Hoa Xuan commune.

According to the target assigned by Dak Lak Provincial Tax Department, from January 1, 2026, 100% of these business households must convert their model from the contract method to the declaration method or become enterprises. Up to now, the Base Tax Department 9 has mobilized 256 households to convert to paying taxes by the declaration method.

Tax officers of 9 grassroots levels in Dak Lak province propagate and guide business households to change their operating models.

From now until the end of the year, Tax Department 9 will continue to review the list of business households (including contract households and declaration households) in the management area; update business household information on the tax management system. At the same time, classify business households according to revenue thresholds and business scale to apply appropriate tax policies, tax management methods, accounting regimes and invoice forms.

Tax Department 9 also organized training conferences to answer, guide, and promptly resolve difficulties and problems for business households when converting tax declaration methods. Coordinated with electronic invoice service providers to have support policies on equipment and service costs for business households in the initial implementation phase.

In addition, the tax authority also coordinates with local authorities to set up mobile support teams at traditional markets and streets with a high concentration of businesses... to support businesses in their transformation through a "hands-on" approach and direct answers; ensuring that 100% of businesses' problems are received and resolved.

Mr. Ngo Phuoc An, Head of Tax Department 9, said: “We have identified the target of 100% of business households switching to tax declaration from now until January 1, 2026 as a key task. Therefore, the unit will mobilize maximum force, accelerate direct support at the grassroots level, and ensure that each business household is fully guided so that the transition process takes place most smoothly.”
