“The volume of goods shipped to Ha Tinh from the beginning of November until now has increased by about 40% compared to the previous period. In particular, after the recent 11/11 promotion, the number of orders increased faster. On average, the warehouse has to process about 50,000 orders per day. We work in shifts continuously, some days we have to work until late at night to complete the work” - said Mr. Phan Van Manh, warehouse operator of SPX Express Ha Tinh Co., Ltd.

According to a representative of J&T Express Nguyen Xi post office (Thanh Sen ward), the sharp increase in orders is mainly due to changes in consumer habits. People shop online more often, leading to a rapid increase in the number of orders generated each day. At the end of the year, the number of orders at the post office increases by about 40-50% compared to normal days. Currently, the post office has 30 shippers (delivery people), delivering an average of about 3,500 orders per day.

“As the end of the year approaches, the speed of online shopping increases, leading to a much higher demand for delivery than in previous months. To meet the demand in a timely manner, the post office has increased coordination between departments, working quickly while ensuring accuracy. We always put the safety of mail and the interests of customers first, so every step is strictly controlled,” said J&T Express post office representative Nguyen Xi.

While counting and loading parcels onto the truck, shipper Le Van Quy (Thanh Sen ward) shared: “Every day I deliver about 80-90 orders in the area of ​​Nguyen Xi and Le Duan streets (Thanh Sen ward). At the end of the year, there are many orders, so I have to make continuous deliveries to keep up with the schedule. Although it is more difficult, the income is higher in return.”

In addition to the bustle in urban areas, delivery routes to rural areas have also become busier. In many rural areas, the number of orders has increased significantly, mainly for essential products and daily necessities. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuong Duy - shipper in charge of the Trung Tien village route (Thien Cam commune) said: "People here now order online a lot, especially household goods and clothes. Previously, there were about 20 - 30 orders per day, now the average has increased to about 40 - 50 orders. The workload is larger, but we always try to divide the routes reasonably and deliver on time so that people can feel secure when shopping online."

The delivery is fast, and if the goods do not suit me, I can easily exchange them. Online shopping helps me be more proactive, saving time and giving me more options to suit my daily needs,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (Tran Phu ward).

According to records, all shipping units are in the period of working with the highest intensity of the year. The warehouse sorting system, sorting staff, delivery staff… all have to speed up to ensure progress. In addition, units also strengthen internal coordination, flexible coordination when the number of orders suddenly arises during peak hours.
