Launch of Tien Dien version of Kieu story

On the occasion of the 260th anniversary of the birth and 205th anniversary of the death of the Great Poet Nguyen Du, a World Cultural Celebrity, the 225th anniversary of the birth of Truyen Kieu and the 150th anniversary of Truyen Kieu being transcribed into Vietnamese, on the afternoon of November 16, the Nguyen Tien Dien Family Council organized the launch of the special publication Truyen Kieu (Tien Dien version) - a work considered a "family heirloom" of the family.

Attending the event were Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Truong Thanh Huyen, along with leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Board, Vietnam Kieu Studies Association, researchers and many descendants of the Nguyen Tien Dien family.

Delegates and descendants of the Nguyen Tien Dien family attended the launching ceremony of the Tale of Kieu (Tien Dien version).

The Tale of Kieu (Tien Dien version) was carefully compiled, selectively inheriting the research results on the Tale of Kieu over the past 200 years.

Based on the existing Nom and Quoc Ngu versions of Kieu, the editorial team consisting of cultural researchers and members of the Vietnam Kieu Studies Association worked seriously and scientifically to create a version of the Tale of Kieu that is closest to the original work of the great poet Nguyen Du, serving the needs of readers and researchers.

The Tien Dien version of the Tale of Kieu, published by the Nguyen Tien Dien Family Council, is clearly and easily understood in segments and annotations. The book has illustrations by many famous artists, helping readers to more deeply perceive the content and artistic value of this Vietnamese literary masterpiece.

This is a special edition, limited in quantity, printed on large paper size 22 x 35 cm, imported paper, hard cover designed according to the idea of Nguyen Tien Dien family. Each book is numbered, signed and confirmed by the Family Council, serving the preservation, research and collection of ancient books.

The publication is carefully compiled and designed, expressing the love and pride of the homeland of the great poet Nguyen Du.

The release of the Tien Dien version of the Tale of Kieu not only shows the gratitude of the descendants of the Nguyen Tien Dien family towards the great poet Nguyen Du, but also contributes to preserving and spreading the eternal values of the Tale of Kieu - a priceless cultural heritage of the Vietnamese people.

At the launching ceremony, the Nguyen Tien Dien Family Council presented books to organizations, individuals, and schools; and also presented flowers to thank the editorial team for their dedicated contributions throughout the project.
