Agribank Hau Giang successfully organized the Congress of delegates of the grassroots trade union

Can Tho On the morning of November 15, Agribank Hau Giang held the Grassroots Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Le Hoang Minh - Deputy Director of the branch was re-elected as Chairman of the Trade Union.

The 7th Congress of the Agribank Hau Giang Branch Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term is an important political activity, demonstrating the will to unite and the determination to innovate trade union activities. Attending the Congress were Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Party Secretary, Director of Agribank Hau Giang branch; Mr. Le Hoang Minh - Chairman of the grassroots trade union, Deputy Director of Agribank Hau Giang branch; Branch Board of Directors, Chairmen of grassroots trade unions of members of branches and affiliated transaction offices.

In the 2023-2025 term, the Agribank Hau Giang Branch Trade Union (abbreviated as Agribank Hau Giang) has effectively implemented many emulation movements associated with the unit's business tasks.

Caring for workers' lives is given special attention, from supporting union members in difficult circumstances, organizing tours and vacations, to cultural and sports exchange activities to help improve workers' health and spirit.

The union also closely cooperates with local authorities to implement grassroots democracy regulations, contributing to building a disciplined and professional working environment. Emulation movements and social security activities such as: good workers - creative workers; universal education; Agribank for a green future; Agribank smiles; giving solidarity houses, Spring of Love program, helping to go to school, voluntary blood donation... are all widely deployed and bring practical results.

Entering the new term 2025-2030, the Congress has set out a direction of action focusing on three key objectives. First, to strengthen the representative role, care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers. Second, to promote the emulation movement associated with digital transformation and improve labor productivity, contributing to the excellent completion of business tasks. Third, to build a strong trade union organization, promote Agribank's cultural identity, create a united, professional and humane working environment.

On this occasion, the Congress elected delegates to attend the higher-level Congress and elected the Executive Committee of the Agribank Hau Giang Grassroots Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term with capacity, prestige, and dedication to the trade union movement.

The new Executive Committee demonstrates its determination to continue innovating the content and methods of operation, making the union increasingly strong and worthy of its role as a reliable support for union members and workers.

Mr. Le Hoang Minh - Deputy Director of Agribank Hau Giang was re-elected as Chairman of the Agribank Hau Giang Grassroots Trade Union, term 2025-2030.

Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Party Secretary, Director of Agribank Hau Giang acknowledged and commended the results that the grassroots trade union had achieved in the past term. He affirmed that the trade union is always the core force, playing an important role in motivating workers, contributing to building a united, strong collective and successfully completing the political tasks of the unit.

“In the context that Agribank is promoting digital transformation, improving service quality and aiming for sustainable development, the trade union organization needs to continue to innovate, be creative, and closely accompany the government. I hope that the Hau Giang Agribank Trade Union will further promote its representative role and care for workers. At the same time, launch many practical emulation movements, contributing to improving productivity, quality and efficiency of work,” Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan directed.

The Branch Director also requested the new Executive Committee to strengthen training and skills development for union members. Continue to spread Agribank culture, build a standard and friendly working environment and promote internal solidarity to meet the increasingly high demands in the innovation and development phase of the banking industry.

The collective of union members is committed to accompanying the government in all key tasks, contributing to the development of Agribank Hau Giang to become more and more sustainable.”

In the 2025-2030 term, the Executive Committee of the Hau Giang Agribank Trade Union has shown its determination to innovate its working methods, proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers; create cohesion throughout the system; organize many practical programs to improve the spiritual and material life of union members.
