Hai Phong receives nearly 750 million VND more to support people affected by storms and floods

Through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, a number of organizations, individuals, businesses and localities donated funds to support people affected by storms and floods.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee received a donation of 200 million VND from a representative of Con Ong Transport and Logistics Joint Stock Company.

On November 17, at the headquarters of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, received nearly 750 million VND in support of people affected by storms and floods from collectives, units, businesses and people in the city.

Specifically, the Party Committee, government and people of Kim Thanh commune donated 225.45 million VND; people and officials of Ha Bac commune donated 318 million VND; Con Ong Transport Joint Stock Company donated 200 million VND.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan acknowledged and appreciated the sentiments, sharing, and mutual love of the cadres, people of the localities and the cadres and workers of the unit. This is a practical and timely work to encourage people in the disaster area to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city will compile detailed statistics, publicize the amount of donations and promptly transfer them to people living in areas damaged by storms and floods, ensuring transparency, correctness and correct circumstances.

All sharing and support should be transferred to the City Relief Fund account with the account name: Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City - Relief Mobilization Committee; account number: 2473018888 at Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Dong Hai Phong branch or Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong city; account number: 3751.0.1003001.00000 at the State Treasury of Region III. The content of the money transfer should clearly state “name of organization/individual, address… to support people in the provinces to overcome damage caused by rain and floods”.
