With the slogan "Vietnamese Cinema - Sustainable Development and International Integration in the New Era", the 24th Vietnam Film Festival not only affirms the position of the country's cinema but is also a place to honor typical works with strong identity and rich humanity.
Holding this film festival in Ho Chi Minh City is of great significance as the city has just joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of cinema. This is an opportunity for the event to become a large-scale series of activities, enhancing connections and interactions between artists, the public, managers and film investors.
Within the framework of the event, many other outstanding activities took place, including: Welcome Film Week in many provinces and cities across the country (from November 15 to 20); Photo exhibition "Ho Chi Minh City rises with the country through the perspective of Cinema" (from November 21 to 25) along with many important professional seminars and workshops.
The seminars include "Developing the film industry in the new era", "Current situation and solutions to attract film crews to localities", and "Promoting the value of archival moving image documents in the current situation".
