The conference was attended by representatives of departments, People's Committees of communes, wards, industries, industry associations, import-export enterprises and training facilities in the province.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Kha - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade - emphasized: " Gia Lai is integrating deeply, businesses can only improve their competitiveness when they have a firm grasp of the rules of origin and classify HS codes correctly from the beginning. Taking advantage of tariff incentives from FTAs not only helps reduce costs but also expands opportunities to penetrate international markets. The Department of Industry and Trade is committed to continuing to accompany and support businesses in removing difficulties in the process of implementing import and export procedures."
At the conference, delegates were informed of key contents on HS code classification, rules of origin, use of trade documents and technical requirements in the context of Vietnam participating in many new generation FTAs such as: CPTPP, EVFTA, RCEP...
The reporter emphasized that determining the correct HS code helps businesses access tariff incentives, reduce procedural risks, improve competitiveness and meet increasingly stringent requirements of the international market.

In recent years, the province's export activities have maintained growth momentum, with an estimated turnover of 3,002 million USD in 2025. Key products including coffee, wood, seafood and textiles have all grown positively. From October 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade has been assigned to directly issue C/O and approve traders to self-certify origin, contributing to facilitating businesses and shortening the time to process export dossiers.
