Dong Nai traffic police support people in flooded areas of Dak Lak to safety

On November 21, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province mobilized forces to help bring hundreds of people in deeply flooded areas in Dak Lak Province to safety.

Previously, due to prolonged heavy rains causing deep flooding and isolating many residential areas in Dak Lak province, the Traffic Police Department requested localities and professional units to increase forces and means to ensure traffic order and safety, deploy rescue and support for people in flooded areas.

The Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province mobilized 2 canoes and 5 officers and soldiers to join the working group. Other units such as Da Nang City Police, Quang Ngai Province Police and Lam Dong Province Police also increased their forces and canoes to reach deeply flooded and isolated areas.

As of noon on November 21, Dong Nai Traffic Police had coordinated with the authorities and rescue forces to help move hundreds of people, including many elderly people, women and children, out of the danger zone to safety.

Along with rescue work, support teams are stationed on roads at risk of flash floods, landslides or strong currents, to direct traffic and prevent vehicles from passing through dangerous points, to ensure absolute safety for people.
