
On November 21, Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Van Kien, Chief of Dac Pring Border Guard Station, said that the evacuation of 6 households/20 people of the Ve ethnic group in village 57 (Dac Pring commune) was carried out on the night of November 20, after the locality discovered a large crack that was continuing to expand in the hill area behind the houses of Hien Hoa and Zoram Thoat households.
The Dac Pring Border Guard Station mobilized 25 officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinated with local authorities to mobilize and support the evacuation of people and essential assets to a safe place. At the same time, the Dac Pring commune staff advised to ensure all essential needs for people in the temporary shelter area.

On the morning of November 21, leaders of Dac Pring commune and officers and soldiers of Dac Pring Border Guard Station inspected the scene and noted that the crack was in an arc shape, about 80m from the residential area; about 150m long, the shortest section was 70m and had 3 layers of cracks 15-20m apart.
Slumping area 0.8 - 1.5m, crack opening 0.3 - 1m, some deformation points 1 - 1.5m.

The leaders of Dac Pring commune have reported and requested the City People's Committee and relevant departments and branches to urgently inspect and guide handling measures. At the same time, they recommended considering declaring an emergency situation regarding the risk of landslides in village 57 to have a basis for allocating resources to build a new resettlement area, ensuring long-term safety for the people.
