“Promoting the spirit of “Love and assistance” according to Uncle Ho’s Six Teachings and the tradition of “mutual love and support”, “the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves”, the Party Committee - Board of Directors of Hanoi City Police Department has called on each officer and soldier to donate at least one day’s salary. Through Gia Lai Provincial Police Department, Hanoi City Police Department donated 500 million VND to join hands with the police force and people of the province to overcome the consequences of floods and soon stabilize their lives”, said Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat.

The Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police added that, in the face of complicated weather conditions, Hanoi City Police is always ready to mobilize forces and means to reinforce and support Gia Lai Province Police when requested.

On behalf of Gia Lai Provincial Police, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ksor H'Bo Khap, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, respectfully thanked the Hanoi City Police for their timely and kind support and said that recently, two large-scale natural disasters have occurred in the province, causing particularly serious damage.

The Deputy Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police emotionally shared that many officers and soldiers had not slept for many days, often immersed themselves in floodwaters to rescue people, ensuring the safety of the elderly, children and people's property. In many deeply flooded areas, the force had to tie ropes and use buoys to approach each household, bringing people out of the danger zone. The Provincial Police Department directly went to the scene to direct, encourage and guide response skills in harsh natural disaster conditions.

"In this difficult situation, the affection and encouragement of Hanoi City Police is an extremely valuable source of support for officers and soldiers of Gia Lai Provincial Police," Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ksor H'Bo Khap emphasized.

Representatives of Gia Lai Provincial Police leaders pledged to fully, promptly and properly allocate resources to the areas and people with the most severe damage; continue to mobilize maximum forces to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
