Military Region 7 urgently supports Lam Dong to overcome the consequences of floods

In recent days, Military Region 7 has mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers to participate in rescue and support Lam Dong province in overcoming the consequences caused by floods.

Currently, there are two units under the Military Region 7 Command participating in rescue and supporting Lam Dong province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. Of which, the 302nd Infantry Division reinforced with 202 comrades; the 25th Engineer Brigade reinforced with 125 comrades along with command vehicles, 24 trucks, 2 ambulances, 2 military control vehicles, 5 high-speed boats concentrated in the communes of Don Duong, D'ran, Duc Trong, Lac Duong....

With the spirit of urgency every hour, every minute, the forces of Military Region 7 supported people to move their properties to a safe place. Immediately after the water began to recede, officers and soldiers actively cleaned up roads, infrastructure, schools, and agricultural production areas of people in Lam Dong province, thereby helping people to stabilize their lives soon.

Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Political Commissar of Military Region 7, has just sent a letter of commendation to the units directly participating in the implementation of the mission in Lam Dong province, including: Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, Division 302, Brigade 25, Brigade 657. In it, it is stated that the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Command of Military Region 7 commended and praised the bravery, high determination, and efforts of the comrades in performing the task of responding to incidents, natural disasters, and search and rescue. At the same time, he believed and hoped that the comrades would further uphold the mettle, determination, and tradition of determination to fight and win of the heroic Vietnam People's Army, "national love, compatriots' love", solidarity, and coordination to absolutely protect the safety of the lives and property of the State and people, and be more active in helping the people of Lam Dong province promptly overcome the consequences of incidents and natural disasters, quickly stabilize their lives; and at the same time, ensure absolute safety during the implementation of the mission.
