On November 27, the Miss International 2025 Final took place in Tokyo, Japan, with the participation of 80 contestants from countries and territories.
This year's finals have many changes. The judges chose the top 20, top 10 and top 5 instead of the top 8 like previous years.
In the end, the beauty Catalina Duque was chosen by the jury to receive the highest title. She is also the beauty who brought home the fourth Miss International crown for Colombia.
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th runner-up titles respectively went to beauties from Zimbabwe, Bolivia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Miss Catalina Duque, 26 years old, has an impressive height of 1.80m with a lovely face, professional performance style, and confident communication skills. She graduated in Social Communication at EAFIT University, Medellín.
Before announcing the results, the top 5 answered a common behavioral question describing their experience at the contest with their fans. The Colombian beauty said that her family is in Japan today and she will speak directly to them.
“Before, I used to think that only the big moments really mattered. But when I learned about Japanese culture, I learned about mono no aware - the beauty of the little things, like the way the leaves falling in autumn make everything beautiful, the way children hug me and smile, or how every delicious bowl of ramen I enjoy reminds me to appreciate life and enjoy every moment. I am so grateful to be here. And, I really had a wonderful time,” Catalina Duque said emotionally.
The organizing committee also announced the titles and subsidiary awards including: Miss International Europe is Miss England, Miss International Africa is Miss Zimbabwe, Miss International America is Miss Turks and Caicos Islands, Miss International Asia and Pacific is Miss Macau (China), Most Voted Beauty is Miss Myanmar, Elegance Award is Miss Czech Republic, and Sports Beauty Award is Miss Dominican Republic.
The Vietnamese beauty participating in this year's contest is Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy, born in 2003, graduated from the English Language Department ofFPT University Can Tho. Kieu Duy is 1.69m tall, with measurements of 88-63-90 cm. She won the title of Miss Vietnam 2024 and Miss Tay Do 2023.
At Miss International 2025, Kieu Duy did not make it into the top 20. However, she still received attention from domestic audiences for her fluent English communication skills, friendly behavior, elegant fashion style...
Miss International was founded in 1960 and is one of the three largest beauty pageants in the world, along with Miss World and Miss Universe. In 2024, Vietnamese beauty Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was crowned Miss, becoming the first Vietnamese beauty to win this pageant. Over the past year, Miss Thanh Thuy has participated in many meaningful international activities in many countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, the US, Guatemala, Cambodia...
In the Miss International 2025 final, Thanh Thuy emotionally shared her 1-year journey to the crown in English, Vietnamese and Japanese. She especially emphasized that she is always proud to be Vietnamese and upholds the national flag wherever she goes.
“Becoming Miss International has given Thanh Thuy the opportunity to travel to many countries around the world, carrying out meaningful volunteer activities, including bringing clean water development projects to Africa. The past year was neither long nor short, but it has given me a lot of experience. I will always act and work to inspire people, making women always believe in themselves,” Thanh Thuy expressed.
