Quang Ninh province delegation presented 300 gifts to support Lam Dong people affected by floods

On the morning of November 23, a delegation from Quang Ninh province led by Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Ninh province, visited and presented gifts to households affected by floods in D'ran commune, Lam Dong province.

Here, comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong and members of the delegation kindly inquired about health and life, and shared with the government and people of D'ran commune - a locality that suffered heavy damage in the recent flood.

Comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Ninh province and Comrade Da Cat Vinh, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province visited the situation of D'ran commune.

The working delegation also presented 300 gifts, including essential necessities, to provide timely support to affected households in the locality, helping people gradually stabilize their lives.

Encouraging the government and people to overcome difficulties, comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong affirmed that Quang Ninh province will always accompany and be ready to support D'ran commune in particular and Lam Dong province in general in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters quickly and effectively.

He emphasized that Quang Ninh is ready to share experience in restoring traffic, telecommunications, transportation, electricity and other essential sectors after floods.

Essential goods sent by Quang Ninh province to the people of D'ran commune

According to Notice No. 99-TB/TW, the Politburo assigned four major localities including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh to directly provide food, essential supplies and medical personnel to provinces that suffered heavy damage due to floods. In particular, Quang Ninh province was assigned to support Lam Dong province.

On the evening of November 22, a working delegation from Quang Ninh province presented 50 billion VND and 30 tons of goods and necessities to support Lam Dong province in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods in 2025.
