Since 2019, the Provincial People's Committee (formerly Hoa Binh province) has organized a conference to promote tourism investment in Pa Co commune as a signal showing the potential and strong attraction of this land. However, Pa Co tourism is still developing on a small scale, lacking large investment projects, not commensurate with the available potential.

Mr. Tran Van Truyen - Chairman of Pa Co Commune People's Committee said: Despite having a lot of potential, Pa Co still faces many difficulties due to the traffic infrastructure, electricity system, roads, schools, and stations at many points being degraded and needing investment; the terrain is mainly mountainous, the area of land for production is small, the source of irrigation water is unstable, causing difficulties for agricultural development.

Faced with that reality, the commune has determined to take tourism development as a spearhead in economic development, focusing on developing community tourism associated with clean agricultural development and preserving cultural identity. The commune is actively mobilizing people to participate in tourism, supporting the construction of homestays, growing vegetables, fruit trees... to serve tourists. At the same time, it continues to recommend the province to pay attention to investing in infrastructure; opening training courses to improve skills and knowledge of serving tourists for the people...

With the determination to promote internal strength and effectively exploit existing potential, Pa Co is gradually overcoming difficulties, aiming to become a unique community tourism destination on the Northwest route.
