Delegation of the French Consulate General and the French Trade Office in Vietnam visited and worked with PTSC Corporation

On the morning of November 21, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Petroleum Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) was honored to welcome the delegation of the Consulate General of the French Republic and the French Trade Office in Vietnam (Business France Vietnam - a trade agency under the French Embassy in Vietnam) to visit and work with the Corporation. Attending the meeting, on behalf of the French delegation were Mr. Etienne Ranaivoson - Consul General of France in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Yann Frollo de Kerlivio - Commercial Counselor of the French Embassy and Director in charge of ASEAN, Business France Vietnam, staff from the Trade Office and representatives of enterprises from the French Republic. Welcoming and working with the delegation, on behalf of PTSC Corporation were Mr. Le Chien Thang - Deputy General Director, along with representatives of leaders and staff from relevant functional departments.

At the meeting, PTSC Deputy General Director Le Chien Thang introduced to the French delegation an overview of the history of formation and development, core business areas, service provision capacity of PTSC and investment and development orientation in the fields of oil and gas, renewable energy, especially the potential for cooperation with French enterprises not only in the traditional oil and gas sector, but also in the field of renewable energy such as the project to export offshore wind power from Vietnam to Singapore and Malaysia of PTSC Corporation and the nuclear power sector with nuclear power projects that Vietnam plans to deploy in the near future.

On the French delegation side, Consul General Etienne Ranaivoson highly appreciated the capacity, experience, strong development in recent times, as well as the energy transition strategy in the coming time of PTSC. The Consul General expressed his hope that the parties will strengthen the connection to effectively exploit potential cooperation opportunities in major projects of PTSC Corporation. Representatives of French enterprises also introduced the capacity and experience of each company and wished to seek cooperation opportunities with PTSC in specialized areas of strength.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue exchanging information to concretize and promote cooperation opportunities between PTSC and French enterprises. This activity is not only expected to contribute to strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and the French Republic, but also to maximize the effectiveness of opportunities within the framework of the Vietnam - European Union Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), thereby further tightening the traditional and sustainable cooperative relationship between the two countries in the coming time.
