This is the first shipment in the total plan to support about 100 tons of goods and 50 billion VND from the provincial budget to help the neighboring province overcome difficulties and stabilize life as set out by Quang Ninh .

Immediately after receiving the direction in the Conclusion Notice No. 99-TB/TW of the Politburo (on the afternoon of November 21), the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a meeting and quickly mobilized all forces to deploy support work. The first shipment (on the afternoon of November 22) included: food, necessities, clothing, medicine and medical supplies.
In particular, Quang Ninh province has decided to provide immediate support of 50 billion VND from the budget to help Lam Dong province overcome damage to infrastructure and housing for people.
Preparations were carried out synchronously and urgently, demonstrating the spirit of "protecting people's lives above all" and "mutual love and affection".
Accordingly, Quang Ninh immediately sent a working delegation led by the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of relevant departments and branches to Lam Dong to review and assess the extent of damage and determine the most appropriate and practical support plan.
The health sector has urgently gathered medical supplies and disinfectant chemicals (such as 3 tons of Cloramin B, 30,000 Aquatabs tablets, 500kg of alum) and prepared medical staff to support and prevent epidemics after the flood. At the same time, the sector has also mobilized over 200 officers, doctors and nurses to be ready to go to support and prevent epidemics and provide health care for people in flood-affected areas.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and businesses coordinated to mobilize instant noodles, dry food, cakes, blankets, and mosquito nets. The Provincial Military Command donated 1 ton of dry food and 5,000 sets of clothes, and TKV Group donated 2,000 sets of protective clothing.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province is presiding over the second mobilization of over 100 tons of goods, expected to continue to be transferred to Lam Dong in the next 2-5 days, to share difficulties and help people overcome storms and floods and stabilize their lives.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee informed: In the immediate future, the province has been transporting about 45 tons of goods to support people in flood-hit areas of Lam Dong province, including food, essential necessities and medicine. It is expected that in the next 2-5 days, Quang Ninh province will continue to send more batches of relief goods, bringing the total amount of support to about 100 tons, in order to contribute to sharing difficulties and helping people quickly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, and stabilize their lives.
With the spirit of 'mutual love and support', in addition to the initial survey and support activities, Quang Ninh province will continue to promote mobilization work among the people, business community and organizations in the area, mobilizing all forces to join hands towards Lam Dong.
