Ho Chi Minh City also mobilized drones to transport food and necessities to people in isolated areas, ensuring relief effectiveness and safety for relief forces.
In addition to the 50 billion VND budget to support Khanh Hoa province, the City also sent a group of 50 doctors to Khanh Hoa province and divided them into 5 locations where people avoid floods to examine, treat and prevent epidemics during natural disasters and storms.
Doctors will be on duty to respond and deploy solutions to prevent epidemics and health and medical disasters in the locality.
The Ho Chi Minh City relief team focused on mobilizing 50,000 essential gift bags including drinking water, food, clothes, blankets and prepared 10,000 family medicine bags to share with the people.
In addition, the City also mobilized volunteer forces to participate in transporting, receiving and coordinating relief goods with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province. The City will deploy field kitchens, providing about 12,000 free meals to people and forces participating in overcoming flood damage.
Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc said that Ho Chi Minh City supports Khanh Hoa province with focus, key points, close to the actual conditions of the locality in the spirit of fastest, most effective support and under the highest conditions of the City.
In addition, the City also mobilized forces to join forces of Khanh Hoa province to repair damaged works, bridges, roads, schools, medical stations, treat polluted water, etc. to ensure adequate conditions for operation as soon as the flood situation is resolved. Units coordinated with the telecommunications industry to quickly restore broadcasting stations, ensuring uninterrupted communication.
