On the evening of November 22, more than 100 tons of relief goods were brought by people from all walks of life in the former Binh Duong province, now part of Ho Chi Minh City, to the donation points of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society (base 2) to support people in flood-hit areas. This is the result obtained in just about 20 hours of the Red Cross Society calling for support for people suffering from natural disasters in the South Central region.
Along with the crowds of people coming to support essential goods, hundreds of volunteers were also present to sort and pack the goods. By 10pm on November 22, the first truck carrying 20 tons of heavy goods, meaning our compatriots, had rolled out, heading to the Central region. Just tomorrow morning (November 23), these essential gifts will reach the flood victims of Gia Lai province.

At the reception point, hundreds of boxes of necessities were transported, sorted and loaded onto vehicles by union members, students and volunteers to promptly deliver to localities in need of urgent support.
The working atmosphere is urgent and responsible; the spirit of shock and enthusiasm of the youth is clearly shown through each pair of hands working together to lift the boxes, through each smile encouraging each other in the rain and wind.
Every young person, whether a student, a member of the Youth Union, or a citizen participating in the support, shares a single wish: to quickly send meaningful gifts to people in the storm-affected areas, helping them overcome the immediate difficulties.

Ban Pham Minh Khoi, a student at FPT University, participated in loading and unloading relief goods. He shared: “I cannot go directly to the flood area and cannot contribute much to the people, but I would like to contribute my small effort to help bring relief goods to the people in the flood area as quickly as possible. I feel very lucky and honored to participate in the work in such a meaningful atmosphere of mutual love and support.”
