By the end of the third quarter, Vietnam's seafood export turnover reached 8.36 billion USD, up 16% over the same period last year with two main products being shrimp and tra fish. China continued to surpass the US to maintain its position as the largest seafood importer of Vietnam with a turnover of 1.8 billion USD, up 34% over the same period last year. Next is the US market with a turnover of 1.4 billion USD, up 8.4%; Japan with 1.3 billion USD and the EU with 884 million USD.
