Opening of the final round of the 2025 National Men's Student Football Tournament - TV360 Cup

The Final Round gathered 16 best teams nationwide, divided into 4 groups, taking place from November 18 to November 29.

The 2025 National Men's Student Football Tournament TV360 Cup belongs to the National Student Sports Tournament system (NUC) organized by the Ministry of Education and Training , with the coordination of the Vietnam University and Professional Sports Association, Viet Digital Content and Trading Joint Stock Company (Vietcontent), University and Professional Sports Associations of provinces/cities, Dong Thap University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports and Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

This year's tournament received the support of prestigious brands and media units, including the title sponsor TV360 Entertainment TV Application, Dong Luc - the official costume sponsor of the tournament, Suntory PepsiCo - the accompanying sponsor, along with Webthethao.vn and TikTok - two media sponsors contributing to strongly spreading the image of student football.

The 16 best teams in the country will compete in a round robin to determine the points, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the quarter-finals, before continuing to compete in the semi-finals and final to find the national champion.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the morning matches took place at the University of Science and Technology Stadium with the confrontations in Group A. In the opening match, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Hue University drew 1-1 in a tug-of-war under cold and rainy weather. In particular, the goal of Hue University was filled with emotions when player number 7 Diep Dung Bach had a meaningful celebration. After scoring, he pulled his shirt to reveal the words: "Hope Hue can safely overcome the flood."

In the past 20 days, people in Hue city have suffered four consecutive major floods, seriously affecting their lives. Many families live in low-lying areas, where every rainy season is always dangerous. Sharing after the match, Dung Bach emotionally said: “After going to Hanoi, it rained heavily in Hue and the water rose. This is the fourth flood in a month. I hope Hue will be peaceful. We will fight for Hue, for the people at home. Neighbors, keep fighting, we will do our best.”

In the remaining match of Group A, Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports won 1-0 against Cuu Long University, thereby having a favorable start in this year's final round.

In the afternoon of the same day, Group B continued to be exciting with the match between Van Lang University and the University of Information and Communication Technology - Thai Nguyen University. The representative from the tea land played impressively and won 3 - 1, temporarily taking the lead in the table after the opening match. The match that closed the opening day of the tournament between Phuong Dong University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education ended with a minimal 1 - 0 victory for the representative from the South.

Despite the unfavorable weather, it was rainy and cold, the matches on the opening day were still dramatic, demonstrating the fierce, united and beautiful competitive spirit of the student football teams.
