Vietnam Sports Administration comprehensively reviews preparations ahead of SEA Games 33

SEA Games 33 is approaching, requiring Vietnamese Sports to urgently prepare in a systematic, scientific and effective manner. This is the main content of the working session with departments and functional offices chaired by Director of the Vietnam Sports Department Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet.

At the meeting, Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet directly directed the comprehensive review of the national teams' preparations, emphasizing the need to ensure scientific , practical and effective work in each item of work. This is not only a regular professional activity but also a key step to ensure that the Vietnamese Sports Delegation enters the 33rd SEA Games with the best preparation and highest determination.

In many recent working sessions with departments training at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center and the National Sports Training Center, the Director has always been consistent in his direction with the spirit throughout: all preparations for the 33rd SEA Games must be deployed urgently, thoughtfully, carefully calculated, ensuring substance, efficiency, effectiveness; right people, right job; aiming at the goal of best serving the national mission.

This review focuses on key issues such as: accommodation, training and competition conditions of the teams when the Vietnamese Sports Delegation arrives in Thailand (expected on December 7); travel schedule, seeing off and welcoming the delegations at the airport. Along with that, the relevant departments and units must grasp the actual situation regarding the distribution and supplement of equipment and competition costumes; nutritional conditions, supplements and products to support physical recovery, ensuring absolute safety and compliance with regulations for athletes throughout the time before, during and after the Games.

Representatives of specialized departments reported in detail on preparations for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation to participate in the 33rd SEA Games.

This thorough review is not only to complete the immediate goals but also to contribute to building and nurturing the core force for long-term goals, especially the continental and world arenas. Therefore, during the preparation process, if difficulties arise, the departments must promptly report and proactively coordinate to resolve them, avoiding shortages or urgent handling when the competition time is near.

Along with expertise, the Vietnam Sports Administration pays special attention to the management and use of funding sources, including the state budget and socialized sources. This is a closely directed content to ensure publicity, transparency and efficiency - important requirements in state management of the Sports sector.

Emphasizing the preparation of resources for the 33rd SEA Games, Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet requested that the allocation of resources must be for the right purpose, avoiding waste or misuse. When mobilizing social resources, the departments must comply with regulations, while ensuring that all resources are directed towards improving the quality of training and competition conditions for athletes.
