The photo exhibition "Colors of Vietnamese ethnic groups" organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee from November 15 to 24, 2025 at the coastal park area near Tram Huong Tower (Nha Trang ward) brought people and tourists into the colorful space of the Vietnamese ethnic community. Each photo captured a beautiful moment of the community of 54 ethnic groups living together on the S-shaped strip of land.

Coming to the exhibition space, the public has the opportunity to admire 250 works of art photography and art news by 87 authors nationwide created in recent times, including 200 works selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and 50 works by 25 authors from Khanh Hoa province. Thereby, introducing the typical cultural features of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, from customs, habits, beliefs, lifestyles to traditional costumes and festivals. There, we see the beauty of ethnic groups in the northern mountainous region such as: Tay, Nung, Thai, Muong, Dao, H'Mong...; beautiful mountain and forest scenery, colorful costumes, unique cultural lifestyles; The Ban Flower Festival of the Thai people, the Gau Tao Festival of the H'Mong people, the Long Tong Festival of the Tay and Nung people, the Fire Dancing Festival of the Dao and Pa Then people... In the South Central and Central Highlands regions, there is also a unique artistic space with images of the Cham, Raglai, Ede, Bana, H're, M'nong ethnic groups..., along with scenes of weaving, coffee harvesting or festivals such as: Buffalo Stabbing Festival, Gong Festival, New Rice Celebration Festival, Kate Festival... The Southern region is equally prominent with images of the Khmer, Hoa, Xtieng ethnic groups; images of the Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival, Ok Om Bok Festival...

From the photo exhibition, the public understands more about the beautiful country of Vietnam, the common home of 54 ethnic groups that create a strong and lasting solidarity. The community of Vietnamese ethnic groups was formed and developed along with the thousands of years of history of building and defending the country, bringing to Vietnam a beautiful, diverse and unified picture, in which the cultural identities of the ethnic groups are unique colors. Dinh Thi Nhu Y - a student of the Central Ethnic University Preparatory School in Nha Trang said: "When I came to the exhibition, I saw the diverse beauty of the ethnic groups of Vietnam. I really like to see the photos of traditional festivals, portraits of young women and village elders of the ethnic groups. In the exhibition, there are some photos of my H're ethnic group, which makes me feel very proud and loving." Yoon Hyeonjeong (a Korean tourist ) shared: “I like looking at the photos exhibited here. I was also quite surprised to know that your country has many ethnic groups living together and each ethnic group has its own unique and distinctive cultural beauty. If only each photo had English captions, it would be easier for foreigners to understand.”

The photo exhibition “Colors of Vietnamese ethnic groups” is also an opportunity to honor, spread and promote the unique and precious cultural values ​​of Vietnamese ethnic groups. This is the first time the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, directly the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions, has organized a photo exhibition introducing 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups in Khanh Hoa . Sharing about this, Mr. Ma The Anh - Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions said: “Khanh Hoa was chosen to host this exhibition because it is one of the provinces and cities with developed tourism activities, attracting many domestic and international tourists. This is also the residential area of ​​many ethnic groups, with typical and unique cultural identities and values. The works on display were ordered and carefully selected by us from domestic photographers and journalists. In particular, the number of photographic works of Khanh Hoa province also has high artistic quality. The works show diverse content, showing the richness in life, activities, culture, nature and people of the community of 54 ethnic groups. After the exhibition, all the works were donated to the province, so we hope that the authorities of Khanh Hoa will continue to promote and introduce this photo collection in events taking place in the province, or events taking place domestically and internationally that the province is organizing. participate. Each photo is like a story, a message honoring the solidarity, diversity and rich identity of the Vietnamese people. The exhibition is also an opportunity to introduce images of Khanh Hoa rich in cultural traditions. After receiving all the exhibition photos, we will hand them over to the functional unit for preservation and use for the purpose of promoting and propagating more deeply on cultural, economic, social events, major holidays of the country and the province.
