The garment processing group in Zone 7, Hong Ha, Minh Hoa commune, operates effectively, creating stable jobs for 20 local workers, with an average income of 8-12 million VND per person per month.
To ensure the effectiveness of the emulation movement, the Women's Union of the commune directed its branches to launch emulation campaigns linked to major movements such as: "Building a family with 5 no's and 3 clean's," "Building a family with 5 yes's and 3 clean's," and "Building the modern Vietnamese woman"... The content of the emulation was concretized through practical actions, suitable for each locality and target group, creating a widespread impact in the community. Political and ideological propaganda and education activities were intensified. In 2025, 17 exemplary collectives and individuals were identified, nurtured, and commended, contributing to the spread of positive values in society.
The patriotic emulation movement is also closely linked to the task of economic development and sustainable poverty reduction. The Association effectively maintains activities to support women's economic development through various flexible forms such as: revolving capital contributions, labor support, and sharing production experiences. Currently, the commune has 2,451 members participating in savings models, with a total amount of over 780 million VND, supporting 612 members in borrowing capital to develop their family businesses. In addition, the Association is managing 13 entrusted loan groups with the Social Policy Bank, with a total outstanding loan balance of nearly 37 billion VND, providing loans to 571 households, with no cases of overdue interest or principal. It continues to cooperate with the TYM fund, managing 13 clusters with over 300 members, with an outstanding loan balance of nearly 5 billion VND. Cooperative groups and associations, such as tea processing cooperatives and traditional cake cooperatives, have initially operated effectively, contributing to job creation and increased income for female members.
Alongside economic development, social welfare and humanitarian activities have been widely implemented, yielding practical results. In 2025, the Women's Union of the commune and its branches donated over 30 gifts to policy beneficiaries and new recruits; mobilized support for disadvantaged and sick members with over 300 days of labor and more than 30 million VND. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the Women's Union of the commune and its branches donated 26 gifts, worth 7 million VND, to disadvantaged members and orphaned children; and also donated 86 gifts to new recruits, totaling nearly 13 million VND. The "Godmother" program continues to be maintained, along with activities caring for orphaned children and vulnerable women, contributing to spreading the spirit of compassion and community responsibility.
In the construction of new rural areas, women in Minh Hoa commune continue to affirm their pivotal role. The women's associations effectively maintain the "Women's Association with 5 No's and 3 Cleanliness Standards" model, taking responsibility for self-managed roads, regularly organizing environmental sanitation, planting nearly 500 trees, and building a green, clean, and beautiful landscape. Women's association members actively mobilize their families and the people to donate land for road construction, contributing to the completion of infrastructure criteria, improving the quality of life, and enhancing the appearance of the rural area.
Comrade Pham Thi Thuy An, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Minh Hoa commune, said: “The patriotic emulation movement has truly become an important driving force promoting the activities of the Union and the women's movement. Through emulation, women members are increasingly dynamic, creative, and actively participate in economic development, building happy families, and making practical contributions to the overall development of the locality.” It can be affirmed that the patriotic emulation movement of women in Minh Hoa commune has been and is clearly effective, creating positive changes in many fields. Through specific and practical actions, women not only affirm their role and position but also contribute to building the Party, the government, and building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.
