
On November 18, Nghi Duong Commune People's Committee coordinated with Kien Thuy Area Project Management Board to organize compensation and support payments for households whose land was recovered to serve the Tan Trao Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project, Phase 1.

In this phase, Nghi Duong commune has 44/45 households with agricultural land in two villages (village 2 and village 8 Nghi Duong) receiving compensation of 10.1 billion VND with a total recovered area of 2.1 hectares.
According to the Kien Thuy Project Management Board, for the remaining household with a large aquaculture area, the unit will approve the compensation plan before November 22 and is expected to pay compensation by the end of November 2025.

The Tan Trao Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project Phase 1 in Nghi Duong Commune has an area of 4.38 hectares. Up to now, the locality has completed the investigation and verification of the origin of 4.573 hectares of agricultural land used by 45 households; coordinated the signing of the results of measuring the current status of the land plot, reviewed the population supported to stabilize their lives and completed related procedures.

Chairman of Nghi Duong Commune People's Committee Ngo Duy Kham said that determining the project's site clearance as an important task, from the beginning of November 2025, the Commune People's Committee publicly announced the site clearance plan.
In particular, the locality organized propaganda, held meetings with people and went to each household to explain and guide the policy mechanism. Most of the households subject to repossession highly agreed, and submitted a petition to the Commune People's Committee to soon approve the budget for site clearance before the deadline...

According to the plan, the Tan Trao Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project Phase 1 has a total reclaimed area of about 226.79 hectares, including nearly 199 hectares of agricultural land; the remaining more than 18 hectares of traffic land, existing canals; 0.36 hectares of rural residential land and other types of land. A total of 1,337 households in Kien Hung and Nghi Duong communes are expected to have their land reclaimed.
Localities are actively implementing the next steps to ensure the overall progress of the project, opening up new development opportunities, attracting investment for the locality, and creating jobs for the people.
