The Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project has a total route length of nearly 60km. Of which, the section passing through Dong Nai province is about 7km. This is an expressway that plays a role in connecting the Southeast region, creating development momentum for localities, opening up new development space. At the same time, when the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Project is completed, these two expressways will form a traffic axis connecting with the Central Highlands region, creating regional links, promoting socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security of localities in the region and the whole country.
To construct the project through the area, Dong Nai province must reclaim 272 plots of land with a total area of over 74 hectares in Chon Thanh ward and Nha Bich commune. The compensation and site clearance work for the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project through the province is assigned to the Chon Thanh branch of the Land Fund Development Center.
Up to now, the Chon Thanh branch of the Land Fund Development Center has coordinated with relevant agencies and localities to complete the work of land recovery notification, measurement, inventory and counting.
