The Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway Expansion Project is nearly 22km long, of which the section passing through Dong Nai province is 13km long. To serve the project, Dong Nai province must reclaim more than 4 hectares, with 394 plots of land in Nhon Trach, Long Thanh, and An Phuoc communes.
Regarding land acquisition, compensation and site clearance, the authorities have completed the surveying and mapping of land acquisition and handed over the land acquisition maps, technical documents of land plots and provided cadastral information of recovered land plots under the project to the units to perform the tasks. At the same time, the counting, compensating, supporting and resettlement records for 140 land plots with an area of nearly 1.6 hectares have been carried out, reaching more than 35% of the land plots within the project scope.
Localities have also implemented specific land valuation work (worked with consulting units, provided documents and implemented), however, up to now, there has been no draft land pricing plan.
Regarding resettlement for households, currently, in Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province, there are 27 households with houses, which have been counted. The Long Thanh branch of the Land Fund Development Center has transferred the list of households with houses on land to the Long Thanh commune People's Committee to prepare a file for consideration and settlement of resettlement arrangements according to regulations.
According to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, Dong Nai is expected to complete and hand over the entire project site to the investor in December 2025.
