
According to information from the Hai Phong City Border Guard Command, on the night of November 20, Cat Ba Border Guard Station assisted a sailor who had a serious work accident at sea, bringing him safely to shore for timely emergency treatment.
Previously, at 10:15 p.m. on November 20, Cat Ba Border Guard Station received information from Mr. Tran Quoc Thuan, born in 1985, in My Thuan commune ( An Giang ), captain of fishing boat TB 90888 TS, was traveling to shore to avoid the wind, with 6 crew members on board.
When the vehicle was moving to Cat Ba area (Cat Hai special zone) about 4 nautical miles southeast of the shore, crew member Le Van Tinh, born in 1975, in Tan Thanh commune (An Giang) was unfortunately wrapped tightly by the anchor rope, breaking his arm, leading to serious injury, requiring emergency care.

Immediately after receiving the news, Cat Ba Border Guard Station urgently reported to the City Border Guard Command and mobilized 1 boat, 3 officers and soldiers directly commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Bui Anh Tuan, Deputy Station Chief, to move to Cat Ba Bay area to support the distressed crew member to take him to the emergency room.
At 11:30 p.m. the same day, the rescue team approached fishing boat TB 90888 TS and quickly brought the injured crew member to shore and transferred him to Cat Hai Special Zone Medical Center for emergency treatment.
After receiving timely medical care, crew member Le Van Tinh's health and spirit have stabilized.
