Ship KN 201 rescues fishermen in distress in the southern sea

On the morning of October 15, Fisheries Surveillance Squadron No. 2 said that ship KN 201 had just rescued a fisherman who had an accident at work on a fishing boat operating in the southern sea.

Previously, at 12:20 on October 14, while on duty in the southern sea, the fishing control ship KN 201 received a distress signal from the fishing boat BV97878TS. According to the report, a fisherman on the fishing boat had a work accident and needed urgent assistance.

Immediately after receiving the information, the KN 201 ship quickly maneuvered to the fishing boat's location. After about 30 minutes of travel, the KN 201 ship's force approached the BV97878TS ship and sent a medical team to the ship to provide first aid to the victim.

The victim was identified as Mr. Dao Nhut Lit (born in 1982, hometown Vinh Long province). Upon examination, the medical team noted that the patient had pale skin and was tired due to heavy blood loss, with a wound about 15-20cm long behind his right bicep.

The medical team promptly provided first aid, bandaged the wound, gave the patient medication as directed and closely monitored his health condition. After initial first aid, the medical team handed the patient back to the fishing boat and instructed the captain to quickly bring the fisherman ashore for further treatment, ensuring his safety.
