In recent years, the pink grass hill in Na Lun residential group (Moc Chau ward, Son La province) has become a destination attracting a large number of tourists. The soft, poetic scenery here reminds many people of romantic Korean movies, making the Northwestern highlands more vibrant on the tourist map.

The grass that people often call pink grass is actually a weed, belonging to the coniferous group, with small stems, thin leaves, often growing in sparse clumps. Thanks to its characteristic color and slender shape, when this grass blooms, it creates a carpet of tiny pink flowers, gently swaying in the cool breeze.

When planted and cared for properly, pink grass grows evenly, forming wide hills of light pink color, soft as gentle waves rolling on the hillsides. It is this beauty that has turned Moc Chau into a favorite destination for young people and those who love photography, looking for a relaxing space in the middle of nature.

According to research, in recent years, Moc Chau people have started planting pink grass, and at the same time developing sightseeing and photography tourism. This not only creates more landscape for the locality, but also contributes to the development of unique eco-tourism products, attracting domestic and foreign visitors.

The end of the year is also the time when pink grass begins to bloom. In the cool weather, the fresh air mixed with the golden sunlight, the grass hills become more brilliant than ever. The pink grass hills at this time are like a long pink carpet, gently swaying in the wind, bringing a beauty that is both wild and delicate, making anyone who sets foot here fall in love.

“I have seen pink grass on social networks, but experiencing it directly in a large space, breathing fresh air and listening to the gentle wind is a completely different feeling, both relaxing and enjoyable,” said tourist Tran Minh Thu, who came to Moc Chau for the first time.

“Before, I only knew about pink grass through pictures from other provinces. Now that I see it right in my hometown, I feel proud and excited. This is a very memorable experience,” said Ms. Nguyen Ngan, a resident of Moc Chau ward.

According to the owner of a pink grass hill in Moc Chau ward, the hill is more than 2,000 square meters wide, and the grass variety is selected to suit the soil and local planning. "We consulted with the village chief and studied how to care for the grass to grow evenly, creating an attractive landscape for tourists," the owner of this pink hill shared.

As autumn passes, winter brings the brilliant beauty of blooming pink grass flowers, standing out among the vast green of the mountains and forests. The ideal time to check-in is from 6:30 to 9:00 in the morning or 15:00 to 17:30 in the afternoon, when the sunlight shines down, creating a romantic and attractive pink effect.

With soft grass carpets stretching across the hills, young people can easily create artistic photos, blending with the blue sky. In addition, walking on the winding trails around the pink grass hills is also a wonderful experience, helping visitors enjoy the peaceful space of the plateau.

The pink grass hill is also an ideal choice for camping or picnicking, where visitors can set up tents, spread out tarps, and have picnics on the soft grass, feeling completely relaxed. In addition, around the hill there are many other attractions such as Dai Yem Waterfall, Happy Land tourist area, Bach Long glass bridge, and Ban Ang pine forest, making the trip more enriching and memorable.
