Workshop "Ethical standards, business culture associated with national cultural identity and access to the quintessence of world business culture"

On the afternoon of December 1, 2025, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism organized a workshop on “Ethical standards and business culture associated with national cultural identity and access to the quintessence of world business culture”. This is a forum for the parties to exchange, contribute ideas and propose solutions to perfect Vietnamese business ethical standards in the new era of the nation.

Attending the Workshop, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hai Binh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and representatives of Departments and Offices inside and outside the Ministry.

On behalf of the Vietnam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, Director of the Vietnam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism and Deputy Directors.

The workshop also had the participation of experts, scientists, managers, and nearly 70 businesses in many fields across the country.

Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh gave a speech at the workshop.

Directing and chairing the Workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hai Binh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, suggested that the Workshop focus on giving comments on: The suitability of the Framework of Standards with four core value components; Feasibility in application to enterprises of different scales and fields; Proposals for improvement so that the Framework of Standards of Ethics and Business Culture becomes an effective management tool, supporting the building of brands and images of Vietnamese enterprises...

Regarding the issues raised, the Workshop received 20 comments from representatives of businesses, experts, managers, representatives of organizations and associations to further improve the feasibility of the Framework of ethical standards and business culture.

At the end of the workshop, the Organizing Committee highly appreciated the attention, support and recognition, and accepted all comments and contributions to continue perfecting the Framework of ethical standards and business culture towards standardizing behavior, improving management capacity, strengthening social trust and enhancing the ability of Vietnamese enterprises to integrate according to international standards.

This is an important implementation step of the Project to realize the spirit of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development, while at the same time being consistent with the orientation of building a national value system and standards for Vietnamese people in the new era./.
